Â鶹ÊÓƵ Project: Development of a Flow Drill Fastener Technology to Enable Assembly of a Low Ductility Aluminium Die Casting to Press Formed Sheet or 3D Printed Metal Parts for Building EV Body Structures
Working closely with an industrial sponsor, the project aims to develop a novel fastening technology capable of joining low ductility materials by advancing the understanding of the physical processes involved using both FEA simulations and physical testing.
