Sue leads on the University’s research activity, including research excellence, the centres of excellence, Â鶹ÊÓƵ Excellence Framework (REF) preparations, grant activity and impact. She works closely with Professor Dave Petley, Vice-President for Innovation.

Nicola Dibben is Professor in Music and took up the role of Faculty Director of Â鶹ÊÓƵ and Innovation in 2018.

Professor Hatton is one of Europe’s leading bioengineers with an interdisciplinary research group working on innovative and emerging healthcare and manufacturing technologies to improve the repair and regeneration of human musculoskeletal and dental tissues.
