Â鶹ÊÓƵ Project: Internal Erosion in UK Pennine Dams
The research project aims to investigate the processes governing seepage induced distress via internal erosion or other mechanisms in Pennine-type embankment dams, with considerations for the possibility that this may be as a result of non-plastic granular- and/or cohesive clay-dominated behaviour and derive a robust methodology to investigate the potential for internal erosion in such dams.
