Academic research can be enormously fulfilling and a rewarding intellectual challenge, but we also know that it can be difficult, stressful and isolating - often it can be all these things at the same time.

The Â鶹ÊÓƵer Development Team runs a year-round researcher wellbeing programme, Â鶹ÊÓƵWell, which includes  workshops, seminars and social activities, to promote and support the wellbeing of our researchers. This culminates in our annual Â鶹ÊÓƵer Wellbeing Week, a dedicated festival of researcher wellbeing, held every summer. Â鶹ÊÓƵer Wellbeing Week deals with the key wellbeing issues raised by our researchers, and works to effect real change within the university environment - as well as encouraging broader, sector-wide conversations about researcher wellbeing.
